Slow Jams

Into my senior year I have noticed that I am into more slower music than regular music. The only kind of music I will listen too is hip hop or rap and some rock. There never use to be slow hip hop on my ipod, but now it seems as if that is only what is on my ipod. It just seems like slow music makes me feel more relaxed, and at the same time a more energetic feeling. There are few artist i refer to with good slow music is Akon, Fantasia and Chris Brown. Most people don't like that kind of music because it can make them fall asleep, to me it is the opposite. It gets me thinking a lot as well, either about friends, family or just like itself. My favorite slow song is "When I see You" by Fantasia, I love the beat and the rhythm she has in it. I can not go a day without listening to it, or if I do I play it over and over the next day.

Most people have their different taste in music, either fast, slow, loud, or soft music. We just need to understand that we are not the kind of person if there wasn't music, sometimes it can make us who we are today.

Teaching

After high school I plan on attending Kirkwood and transfer to UNI to go into Education. I really like helping people and being with people, it makes my day a lot better. Especially younger kids make my day because their so young that their still understanding and learning new things. I will most likely stick with kids that are in high school, or that are in elementry. When I pick my brother up at elementry school I see the little kids running around and trying to get where they need to be even if means knocking others over. Sometimes I picture myself as the teachers, telling them to do something right and helping them. There are times when I think if I will be a good teacher, or if I can handle it enough. I guess I will have to figure it out myself and go through the courses for it to see if it is really what I want to do.

Saw

The most scariest, and disgusting movies I have seen are the Saw sequels. It had all started with the very first Saw movie, which it wasn't as scary as the others. The only scary was at the end when the guy had to cut off his foot to escape for help. Overall, I thought the first one could have been a bit better. The rest of the sequels have been the best I think, their more grusome and they have a better plot of where it takes place. In the first Saw, it just had taken place in a room the whole time.

I've noticed in the sequels they have been leaving parts of the movie before into the movie they have made. It is kind of cool how they did that so then if you needed a refresh of what happened in the movie you could know. The newest Saw is by far the best out of all of the movies made. I liked how the setting of the plot was, the story behind it, and how it ended was interesting. You can always tell if there'll be a new sequel just by the ending. If there will be a new coming out, I am sure to go see that one.

What are you Wearing?

Many people are fashionable in this world, and I am not one of those people. I mean, I am not going to lie, I love fashion, but laying around in sweats all day is more comfortable for me. One the weekends I will be up for dressing nicely and maybe some days during the week I will do that too. There are people that look great in certain style of clothes, it just depends on your mood, style of body and your comfort in clothing. If you have a big butt and around hips, wearing a short skirt that shows your butt wouldn't be comfortable. I was told never to wear clothes that aren't your size, because it doesn't show your real size of body. Plus who wants to wear a shirt or pants that are tight against their bodies, I know that I wouldn't want that. I am into more of skinny jeans than flare or wide bottom jeans, those just don't interest me very much. There are friends of mine that can pull that off, but defiantly not me. There are people that can even pull off wearing bold shirts that are way cute and that stand out. Sometimes I wish that I would have the guts to do that, it's that there is always something stopping me from wearing those types of clothing. Anyhow, I have curvy hips and a curvy butt, so anything that fits me perfect I will get in a instant. Most of my clothes are from the Gap, Old Navy, Von Maur, Urban Outfitters, and I like Forever 21, but haven't been there for awhile. Those stores have the most stylish clothes that are most comfortable for me that I can wear.

I do hope in the future that my dressing habits will improve to being more stylish and outgoing, for now I will stick with my shorts, t-shirts, and sweat pants. :)

Proud to be a Blonde Baby!

If you don't know me, I am known as the biggest blonde ever. I have been a pure blonde ever since I was a little girl, and it did grow darker as I was growing up. It was not until sophomore year that I began highlighting it to keep it how it use to be. Somehow this blondness really shows to people, especially when I am a ditsy girl. My friends really make fun of me when I don't understand something, or if I can't hear them talk to me, then I will say, "Wait..What?". I get made fun of that so much, even this new guy that came to our school caught onto it and makes fun of me as well. I have a feeling that this habit will stay with me for awhile. There are times that I totally make mistakes on silly things. Such as school work, or just random things that we do, I just get confused easily it seems like. Hopefully one day this whole blondness will fade away, making me seem more intelligent than I am now. Sometimes I see myself as the character in Legally Blonde, even though she is known as the biggest blonde she knows how to make herself noticeable in a more intelligent way.

Texting?..Calling?

There are many ways to talk to people, either texting or you can call the person. Over the past few years I have noticed that texting has been increasing, almost every teen that has a phone has text messaging. So what is the point of calling people when you can just text them? In my opinion, if your on the phone with someone and it is awkward talking to them there will be a dead silence on both lines. It is just better to text because you don't feel stupid for saying something wrong in your own voice, and somehow it takes less work to want to talk with someone. All you have to do is type in words and send, just like an e-mail. Phone companies are even coming out with phones where there is already a keyboard that you can send e-mail or texts faster. I admit that I have one of those phones, and I am a text addict. If I get bored I will just talk through texting, even to random people that I barely talk too. It even comes handy in school because if you need to tell someone something right away, all you do it sneak out your phone and text them. Plus you can't call them during class since that will give it away to the teacher your being interrupted for everyone. There are kids that are in elementary that have cell phones already, and I am pretty sure that they have texting as well.

It is kind of interesting what their going to have for us in the future, whether there will be a t.v. on your cell phone to talk back and forth or something more intelligent to have.

Can I have you Number

The best Youtube video that I have ever seen is "Can I have your number?". The very first time that I saw it was in Hawaii with my friend Jenny Valliere. We were looking on youtube with her younger brother Justin, and came across this video. While we were on vacation there, that is all we would joke about. Justin did the best impression of the guy hitting on the girl, it was greatest time. It seemed like every time that we would get out of bed, we'd go straight to the computer to look up more youtube videos, and we would always have to watch the number one. There was one time at dinner that we recorded her brother imitating the guy, and honestly sounded like him. Ever since that vacation we don't mention of the joke anymore, but I know that we will always remember the most funny times watching it.

School

I am a senior in high school this year, and it is by far the most stressful years that I have had. It is not just the school work, but trying to figure out what college to choose from and to score good on the ACT's. My grade point average hasn't been the greatest through out my high school, so thinking about college is stressful. I wish that I could go to the past to try to improve my schoolwork more, but I know that I had a chance to do that. The only part that I struggle with the most is with testing and quiz's. I always finish homework and finish projects, it is just the tests that would be a challenge for me. Yes, I am shy sometimes to go ask the teacher for help, but it depends on how comfortable I am with the teacher. Most of the time I have the guts to go talk to the teacher for help. Even though sometimes I still struggle on comprehending what I need help with. The subjects I don't do good in is science and math. Trying to understanding so many problems and solving ways just confuses me. I have even gone in for help, but some reason I still don't get both of the subjects.

For college next year I plan to improve my GPA at kirkwood so I can transfer to UNI for education. For being in that field I know that I have to set a good example on my future students to do good in school.
